Mill Creek Ward Tithing Declaration

The Mill Creek Ward will begin Tithing Declaration starting September 15th and will end on November 24th. We have put together an online signup form and ask that each individual or family please choose an available time to meet with Bishop Ward.

President James E. Faust said, “One of the great blessings the people of this Church have is to meet with the bishop once each year, settle their tithing, and report that what they had paid in contributions constitutes a tithe. It is also a great blessing for the bishops to have this experience.”

Even if you have not paid a full tithe or any tithing at all, meeting with the bishop is a great opportunity to commit to begin or to do better. We invite all to share in the blessings from the Lord from living the law of tithing and attending tithing settlement.

Instructions for viewing and printing your annual statements:

Members may download or print their annual statements through  donations.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Clerks (if asked) can also print statements from the Tithing Declaration menu on the Donor Statements tab in LCR. Donor statements are highly confdential and should be treated with great sensitivity.

Mill Creek Ward Temple Days

We are excited to announce monthly Ward Temple Days. We invite everyone to please consider joining us in the Temple. We will have sign up sheets for those who would like to make it known that they plan on joining us and to also help with those who would like to ride share. If you show up unannounced at the Temple that of course is ok as well. For Endowment sessions please make your own reservation with the Temple. For Baptisms/Confirmations and Sealings the Bishopric will make the reservations with the Temple.

September 28th 4pm: Endowment (Stake Temple Day)

Everett Stake Temple Days

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Everett Washington Stake,

We’re working with the Seattle Temple to organize four separate temple events in 2024 for the members of our stake.  As a Stake Presidency, we’re looking forward to this with great anticipation.

Here are the dates we have scheduled and we encourage you to mark these on your calendar and plan on attending:

  • Saturday, September 28th at 4 pm: Endowment
  • Saturday, November 2nd at 4 pm: Sealings

The following are instructions for how we’ll organize our attendance:

Endowments:

  • These will be held following our stake conferences this year and will be a great way for us to unify as a stake around the messages and energy that comes from stake conferences.
  • Each member sets an appointment through the online system.  Appointments can be set roughly 3 months before the session.  Signing up will allow the temple to be prepared for our group.  They want us to have a wonderful experience.

Sealings:

  • Sign ups for sealings will be organized in Ward Elders Quorums and Relief Societies.  More to come on this.
  • Giving the temple advanced notice will allow them to provide adequate sealing rooms and temple sealers

The sealing sessions will be coordinated by Ward Elder’s Quorum and Relief Society Presidents.  Members attending the endowment sessions should make appointments with the temple by calling them or through the online apps.

We also encourage you to reach out to those in your ward who may need assistance getting to the temple so that all who want to attend, can have the opportunity to do so.

As a reminder, our stake temple recommend and ecclesiastical endorsement interview times are the 2nd and 3rd Sunday from 2 pm – 4pm and the 4th Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

Sincerely,

Mark A. Wright

Jerry R. Davis
